FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle braking device with rocket engine (VBDRE) relates to operation of vehicles, in particular, to equipment increasing safety of vehicle operation. VBDRE comprises at least one rocket engine capable of generating braking force with control system. Output cross-sections of the larger part of the rocket engine are located above the common centre of mass of the vehicle.
EFFECT: use of the proposed device allows reducing the risk of people's injury with combustion products of the rocket engine, eliminating smoke screening of the vision in front of the front glass of the vehicle driver with combustion products of the rocket engine, as well as eliminating overturning torque of braking forces and increasing stability of the vehicle during braking.
