FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for utilization of associated gas generated during offshore oil production. Method includes the injection of associated gas through reservoir 5 in the underwater or surface tank 1, partially filled with water. After bringing the ratio of the volumes of gas and cavity in tank 1 to values equal to ~ 160:1, tank 1 is filled through collector 9 with water. Pressure in tank 1 is raised to the values at which hydrates of the associated gas components are formed at the temperature of the water in the tank. Then tank 1 is undocked from collectors 5 and 9 and seized by vessel-shuttle 11 for transporting gas to consumers. At the gas receiving point, the tank is docked to the receiving manifold and is decompressed to atmospheric pressure. As a result, hydrates are decomposed into gas and water. Gas is supplied to the consumer, the tank with water is supplied to the oil production.
EFFECT: elimination of emissions of associated gas into the atmosphere in the form of products of its combustion and reduction of disposal costs in comparison with existing methods.
