FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a laser machine, which has laser head (3) for emitting a laser beam on a workpiece to be treated and movement unit (1, 2, 9) for spatial movement of laser head (3) with linearly moving machine portal (1) and held on it with the possibility of transverse movement by transverse carriage (2). Flexible fibre cable (10), having a minimum bending radius for the transmission of the laser beam, enters the entry point at the upper end of the laser head. At least one cable guidance system (12, 13) is provided for guiding fibre cable (10) over at least a portion of its length. Cable guidance system (12, 13) comprises deflecting unit (13) mounted on the laser head, which defines a deflection arc extending above the entry point and adjacent to the entry point, along which fibre cable (10) is led to the entry point and the radius of which is greater than the minimum allowable bending radius of fibre cable (10).
EFFECT: obtaining inclined positions of laser head (3) without undue stress on fibre cable (10).
