FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to camouflage, and specifically to devices for hiding objects from visual and optoelectronic intelligence equipment operating in the visible range. Device for a full-length adaptive masking of objects from visual and optical-electronic surveillance means consists of the vertical screen (1) of a closed structure with the length L with light-guided fibers (2) of variable cross section with the length L/2, made of an elastic material with a coloring, the nature of which is closest to the background structure of the given area or to one of the standard camouflage colorings. Light guides (2) of variable cross-section (focons) have exits to the surface of the screen (1), made in diametrically located directions relative to the axis of symmetry of the screen. Outputs (3) and (4) on the surface of the screen of the optical fibers (2) of variable cross section (focons) have a larger area of not less than two orders of magnitude than the cross sectional area of the optical fibers (2) in the middle part, and represent optical systems (objectives).
EFFECT: minimization of the number of components, assemblies and units that make up the device, avoiding the use of volatile components and components, the efficiency of masking the object are ensured.
