MEMBRANE DEVICE WITH DOUBLE ACTION TURBULATOR Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D63/06

Abstract RU 2680459 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation, concentration and desalination of various solutions using reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration. Membrane apparatus includes a tubular membrane module, made in the form of a porous body with a semipermeable membrane deposited on its inner surface, branch pipes for introducing the initial solution, withdrawal of filtrate and concentrate, turbulizer, new is that the turbulator is installed with the possibility of reciprocating motion along the axis of the tubular membrane module using a running shaft placed rotatably in the threaded bushing of the turbulator housing and guides fixedly mounted on the inner surface of the porous body, the turbulator is made in the form of a double truncated cone, directed by smaller bases towards the flow of the initial solution, the first truncated cone is solid and contains tapering conical holes placed around the circumference, the axis of rotation of the tapered holes parallel to the axis of the tubular membrane module, and the diameter of the holes decreases along the path of movement of the initial solution through them, the second truncated cone of the turbulizer is made hollow and contains on the outer surface near the larger base of forked rails equidistant from each other around the circumference; near the larger base of the first truncated cone there are projections, bent backwards in the direction of motion of the turbulizer to prevent the part turning during rotation of the running shaft, the diameters forming the first d1 and D1 and second d2 and D2 truncated cones, their length is l1 and l2, diameters larger than dhole1 and smaller dhole2 openings of the first truncated cone, angles of entry α1 and exit α2 the forked guides of the second truncated cone are selected the way the flow of the initial solution passing through the tapered conical holes of the first truncated cone and the forked guides of the second truncated cone would experience the greatest turbulence in the cavities formed by the large base of the first truncated cone, the outer part of the second truncated cone and the surface of the semi-permeable membrane, as well as the forked guides of the second truncated cone, its cavity and the surface of the semi-permeable membrane.

EFFECT: increase in productivity of the membrane device.
