FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is an exhaust gas catalyst that effectively adsorbs NOx and hydrocarbons (HC) at or below a low temperature and effectively converts and releases adsorbed NOx and HC at temperatures that are above low temperature, moreover, the specified catalyst for exhaust gases contains the first molecular sieve catalyst and the second molecular sieve catalyst, wherein the first molecular sieve catalyst contains a first noble metal and a first molecular sieve, while the second molecular sieve catalyst contains a second noble metal and a second molecular sieve, wherein the first molecular sieve is different from the second molecular sieve, with the first noble metal and the second noble metal being palladium, and moreover, the reduced temperature lies in the range from 200 to 250 °C. Also an exhaust system for internal combustion engines and a method for treating exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine are proposed.
EFFECT: disclosed is a catalyst for exhaust gases, which has a high resistance to sulfur and the corresponding exhaust system, which allows to reduce emissions during the cold start at a low temperature.
