In the method, the water purifying system includes a water purifying device that contains a filter element for filtering water, an filter element identification device which is provided on the filter element and which is used to identify the filter element, a filter element recognition device for reading identification information from the filter element identification device, a remote control interface for transmitting identification information read by the filter element recognition device to the manufacturer data management center, a device for measuring the properties of water to measure the properties of water filtered by the filter element, and a control device that has a connection with the device for measuring water properties and the remote control interface and which is used to store and process the output information of the device for measuring the properties of water and for transmitting information about the quality of water filtered by the filter element to the manufacturer data management center, when the verification result received from the manufacturer data management center indicates that the filter element is appropriate. Also the method for control and management of filter elements based on the water treatment system is carried out using the described system.

EFFECT: improved quality of water purification, increased service life of the water purifier.
