FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a concentrated aqueous composition for the preparation of wetting agents. Said concentrated aqueous composition for preparation of wetting agents includes: a. from 10 to 30 % by weight (wt.%) of depolymerized carboxymethyl cellulose (depolymerized CMC) having a weight average molecular weight in the range from 10,000 to 80,000 daltons (Da); b. from 15 to 50 % by weight of a compatibilizer selected from the group consisting of glycerol and sodium xylene sulfonate; as well as c. 0.5 to 20 % by weight of a surfactant; and d. water and optional additives in an amount sufficient to make the total content of the components equal 100 %.
EFFECT: moisturizing agents are suggested.
