FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of building materials, and in particular to methods for the manufacture of heat-insulating and structural-heat-insulating building products using foamed polystyrene. Polystyrene is subjected to foaming in the process of hydration of quicklime with a lime: polystyrene: water mass ratio of 1:0.9–1.0:1.1–1.2 for 3–3.5 minutes to ensure the foaming coefficient Kfoam= 8–10. Concrete mix containing portland cement as a mineral binder, a silica component, suspended polystyrene and water with a temperature of 5–15 °C is prepared. Gas-forming additive in the form of aluminum powder is introduced into the composition of the concrete mixture. Mixture is placed in a mold with a lid and placed in a steam chamber, preheated to a temperature of 40–45 °C. After that, the temperature is raised to 90–100 °C for 0.5–1 hours with swelling of the concrete mixture. Then isothermal aging is carried out for 2.5–3.5 hours with the addition of polystyrene granules. After this, the product is cooled.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the duration of the technological cycle and reduce energy consumption by eliminating heat consumption for polystyrene pre-foaming and electric heating of the concrete mixture, while ensuring high strength characteristics of products.
