FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fractional foam insulation for railway construction. Method for the production of insulation includes mixing a blowing agent in the amount of 0.5…5.0 wt. %, Na2O(SiO2)n modifier with silicate module 3.2 in the amount of 0.1–6 % wt. % and glass-forming component - the rest at a temperature of 40–60 °C. Then the mixture is heated in a furnace to a temperature of 600–660 °C before sintering and softening of glass particles, pore formation in the temperature range of 660–780 °C, foaming of the mixture in the temperature range of 780–950 °C, curing at 950–750 °C followed by rapid cooling from a temperature of 750 °C up to 30 °C.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in strength and thermophysical properties.
