FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for hydrodynamic cleaning of surfaces of chemical-engineering equipment from sludges containing platinum group metals. Method includes hydrodynamic cleaning of the surfaces of these devices using direct non-rotating jets of water, which are fed to a treated surface area. Pressure of the jets is from 0.1–0.5 to 270–300 MPa, and the water temperature is in the range from 0.1–0.5 to 70–90 °C. At the same time, increase or decrease pressure and temperature in the indicated ranges either continuously or in steps with a given step. Move jets of water over the treated surface at a speed of 0.1 to 2 m/s.

EFFECT: high degree of purification of heavily contaminated internal and external surfaces of pipes in hard-to-reach places, an increase in the speed of the cleaning of aggregates, an increase in the percentage of extraction of platinum group metals with respect to losses.
