FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for hydrodynamic cleaning of surfaces of chemical engineering equipment from sludge containing platinum group metals (PGM), and can be used in the metallurgical and chemical industries, in particular in installations in which catalysts from platinum group metals are used. The method includes hydrodynamic cleaning of the process surfaces of these devices, in which direct and/or rotating water jets are supplied to the treated surface area or directly into pipes or process lines at a pressure from 0.1-0.5 to 270-300 MPa, which is changed according to the harmonic law, while the oscillation frequency is changed from 0.1 to 500 Hz, increasing, or decreasing, or leaving constant within a given frequency range, at a water temperature from 0.1-0.5°C to 70-95°C with the possibility of increasing or decreasing the water temperature in the specified range, or with a constant temperature in the specified range, or stepwise in increments from 1 to 20°C, while water jets are moved along the treated surface at a speed of 0.1 to 2 m/s, or without moving them on the surface of the equipment.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to shorten the cleaning time, increase the mass of the collected sludge, as a result of which the percentage of PMG collection increases, and improve the operational characteristics of the cleaned equipment.
