FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test and measurement equipment. Essence: the electric machine, which is under operating voltage, continuously measures the currents and voltages of the phases with the corresponding sensors. Signals from the sensors of currents and voltages register the phase shift and the amplitudes of the current and voltage of the first harmonic of the phases. When inequality appears between the phase shift of the current and the voltage of the first harmonic of one of the phases and the phase shift of the current and voltage of the first harmonic of the other phases that remain equal to each other in transient or steady-state processes, judge the change in the parameters of the coil phase, in particular its inductive resistance associated with a decrease in the number of effective turns of the coil phase. By comparing the values of the phase shifts of the faulty phase, it is judged on the fraction of closed loops before and after the closing of turns. Degree of overvoltage in the phases of the winding is judged by comparing the amplitude values of the phase voltages of the first harmonics before and after the formation of interturn circuits.
EFFECT: possibility of detecting a circuit between the turns of the phase of the winding of a working electric machine from the moment of its occurrence (unstable closure) to the formation of a stable galvanic connection between the turns, as well as an estimate of the share of closed turns and the degree of overvoltage in the phases.
