FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measuring equipment and can be used to determine presence of turn-to-turn short circuits when producing inductance coils, windings of transformers, throttles, electromagnets and other electromagnetic devices. Tested winding is placed in the space between two serially connected coils arranged to form a magnetic connection between them. Harmonic voltage of constant frequency is supplied to diagonal of balanced RLC-bridge, one of arms of which is made of two series-connected coils. Signal from the second diagonal of the RLC-bridge is transmitted to the recording device, from which the presence or absence of short-circuited turns in the tested winding is determined.

EFFECT: reduced time of control, increased reliability, simplification and reduced set of equipment.
