SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to off-road vehicles. Screw propulsion unit comprises a hollow cylindrical rotor with a helical ridge, equipped with a rotation mechanism, and a swivel head. Helical crest is made multiple in the form of holes along a cylindrical rotor forming on the hollow through which the lugs of elastic material are passed, molded on a common substrate, laid from the inside on the hollow cylindrical rotor.
EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propulsion in wheelchairs when driving on hard surfaces with obstacles.
