Folding children's tricycle contains a frame, a front fork, a front wheel, two rear brackets and rear wheels. Frame includes the steering tube, the nodes of the upper, lower, pushing and supporting rods. Nodes of the upper, lower, supporting rods and the steering tube form a hinged four-link chain. Restrictive design means are respectively located between the steering tube and the upper coupling rod assembly and between the steering tube and the lower coupling rod assembly. Folding method of a folding children's tricycle includes several steps. When folding unlocks the locking device and pulls up the push rod assembly. Then the push rod assembly is flipped forward so that the push rod assembly, the steering tube, the upper coupling rod assembly and the lower coupling rod assembly overlap one another.

EFFECT: reduction in bike dimensions in the folded position is achieved.
