FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology and can be used for the blocks from graphite parts manufacturing that can be used at high temperatures. First, on the graphite parts to be joined end surfaces of polyvinyl acetate layers are applied, into the resulting seam the ground silicon is mechanically rubbed in as the additive. Then gluing the parts through the thin carbon felt liner. After the glue drying, placing the resulting workpiece into the sealed furnace and performing the joined in this way parts welding by heating to the temperature above the silicon melting point, in the medium of vacuum or inert gas.
EFFECT: producing the low-permeable and resistant to the elevated temperatures block of two or more graphite parts with its manufacturing technology simplification.
