FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to an isolated antibody or its antigen-binding fragment which binds immunospecifically to a human KIT, a method for its preparation, as well as to the fusion protein and the conjugate comprising the above antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof. Also disclosed is a polynucleotide encoding the VH and/or VL of the above antibody or its fragment, as well as a vector and a cell containing the above polynucleotide. Also the invention relates to a method for treating a KIT-related disorder, to a method for diagnosing a KIT-related disorder, as well as to a method for induction of apoptosis in a cell expressing KIT using the above antibody or its fragment.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively treat a KIT-related disorder characterized by an increase in KIT activity or KIT over-expression.
