A method of producing an antibody, a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, the use of an antibody or a pharmaceutical composition in the manufacture of a drug for the treatment of HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, as well as in the manufacture of a medicinal product for the prevention of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject are proposed. A method of treating an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, a method of preventing an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject are provided. Anti-HBsAg antibodies have a higher binding affinity for HBsAg at neutral pH than at acidic pH, thereby significantly increasing the efficiency of virus clearance and prolonging the time of virus inhibition.
