SUBSTANCE: antibody capable of specifically binding to HBsAg, an isolated nucleic acid molecule that encodes an antibody, an expression vector, a host cell for producing an antibody are proposed. A method of producing an antibody, a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, the use of an antibody or a pharmaceutical composition in the manufacture of a drug for the treatment of HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, as well as in the manufacture of a medicinal product for the prevention of an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject are proposed. A method of treating an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject, a method of preventing an HBV infection or a disease associated with an HBV infection in a subject are provided. Anti-HBsAg antibodies have a higher binding affinity for HBsAg at neutral pH than at acidic pH, thereby significantly increasing the efficiency of virus clearance and prolonging the time of virus inhibition.
EFFECT: invention allows to neutralize HBV virulence in the body of a subject, such as a human, to reduce the serum level of HBV DNA and/or HBsAg in the subject's body, or to activate the humoral immune response of a subject, for example, a person infected with chronic HBV infection, or a patient who has chronic hepatitis B.
