FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground transportation, namely, power control systems for internal combustion engines, equipped with turbochargers and used on cars, motorcycles and quad bikes. Accelerator assembly for a turbocharged internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle comprising a propulsion system with internal combustion engine (1) with intake path (2) and at least one throttle valve (3), the propulsion system of the vehicle can operate in at least two modes, and includes feedback actuator, as well as control body (11) and at least one return spring. Control body (11) is installed with the possibility of rotational or oscillatory movement, power control of the power plant, as well as automatic return to the position corresponding to the minimum power of the power plant under the action of a moment of force generated by at least one return spring, the feedback actuator is structurally associated with at least one throttle (3) and is kinematically connected with governing body (11) with the ability to transfer to the driver kinesthetic information about the change in the operating mode of the power plant due to the change in the reactive moment on the governing body (11). Accelerator assembly is mounted on a vehicle, the power plant of which includes at least one turbocharger (4) with impeller (5) installed with the possibility of creating an overpressure in intake duct (2). Design of the feedback actuator ensures the transmission to the driver of kinesthetic information on the amount of overpressure in intake tract (2) by creating a reactive moment on governing body (11) corresponding to the above-mentioned overpressure.
EFFECT: simplifying the control of the acceleration dynamics of power-equipped vehicles equipped with turbocharged engines by ensuring the quasilinear dependence of the torque developed by the engine and the magnitude of the return force on the accelerator pedal in the presence of overpressure in the intake manifold; reducing the likelihood of uncontrolled acceleration of the vehicle; saving the muscular effort of the driver with partial use of the power of the power plant.
