Method of manufacturing a laminate consisting of a plate of wood composite and decorative paper located on a plate of wood composite, includes the steps of providing a plate of wood composite, spraying at least one layer of at least one powdered resin onto at least one side of a wood composite board, moreover, the surface of this side of the wood composite plate, onto which the powdery resin is sprayed, is not ground and carries a pressed surface layer or a compacted layer, placing at least one decorative paper on the other side of a wood composite board that carries powdered resin, and pressing a layer system consisting of a wood composite board, powdered resin, and decorative paper.

EFFECT: technical results of the invention are the elimination of the stage of grinding the surface of wood composite plates, the use of technical measures to harden compacted or a weak zone to the extent that it can be coated with decorative papers, especially those impregnated with decorative papers, without deterioration, which will manifest itself in further processing.
