SUBSTANCE: invention relates to HVAC systems. In the method, the climate control device in the vehicle cabin contains a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system with an adjustable outlet and a thermographic imager covering a predetermined area in the cabin in which the person is potentially located. Further, the control circuit of heating, ventilation and air conditioning compresses the thermal image to form a temperature map representing the pixels of the thermographic image that fall within the specified temperature range corresponding to the person. Then, the circuit filters the temperature map using the sliding window, combining continuous areas of pixels that fall within the specified temperature range. Next, the area of each continuous area, the location of the centroid of the continuous area with the largest area and the targeting of the adjustable outlet to the centroid are determined.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and optimization of air regulation.
