FIELD: coding.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of coding. Method comprises (a) analyzing the symbols represented in the input data (D1) and splitting and/or converting the input data (D1) into one or more data fragments; (b) generating, performed as a function of the appearance of symbols of at least one of the following: one or more code tables, one or more frequency tables, one or more code word length tables, one or more probability tables for symbols represented in one or more pieces of data; (c) calculating one or more sets of indices linking the characters in each piece of data with the elements in at least one of the following: one or more code tables, one or more frequency tables, one or more codeword length tables, one or more probability tables; (d) compiling information of one or more sets of indices linking the symbols in each piece of data, together with at least one of the following: one or more frequency tables, one or more code tables, one or more code word length tables, one or more probability tables, information indicating one or more such tables, in coded data (E2); (e) compressing the characters in said one or more tables into encoded data (E2).
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of data coding and decoding.
