FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to study the process of cutting materials by the working bodies of shredders, mainly succulent fodder (roots and tubers, melons and gourds). Device contains a frame with lower and upper bases, between the bases of the frame there are two screws with external thread, which rotate in the bearing assemblies located in the bases. Screws are driven from the shaft of a reversing motor with an adjustable rotational speed through drive and two driven sprockets, having a hard fit on the motor shaft and on the screws, interconnected by a drive chain and covered with a casing. At the bottom of the base there is a force transducer. On the threaded part of the screws a crossbeam moves connected through the keyless chuck with a replaceable working body. Working body is attached to the chuck by means of a clamp with a pointer angle of inclination.
EFFECT: technical result: expansion of technological capabilities in the study of cutting process, improving the accuracy and quality of measurements, as well as simplifying the design of the device while increasing its reliability.
