FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of multimaterial powders which are used in various fields (metallurgy, plastics industry) in additive synthesis and surface treatment by sputtering. Multimaterial powder contains carrier particles having median d50 particle size from 1 mcm to 100 mcm, as well as functionalising particles, median d50 particle size of which is 10–1000 times less than that of carrier particles. Carrier particles and functionalising particles form composite granules having a core-cladding structure. Each granule has a core formed by carrier particle, and shell, covering from 10 to 100 % of carrier particle surface and formed by at least one surface layer of functionalising particles. Total surface roughness of the functionalising layer at the level of the granule is less than 10 mcm. Invention also relates to a method of producing said powder.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain composite granules obtained by functionalising the surface of granules or carrier particles using additional elements in form of granules to provide microstructure in layers and makes it possible to facilitate production of a wide variety of alloys, pseudo-alloys, composites and cermets.
