FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of spherical alloy powder from at least two refractory metals. It can be used in additive manufacturing or injection moulding processes. Alloy powder has homogeneous microstructure with uniform distribution of alloy components in powder particles and at least two crystalline phases, wherein content of titanium in powder of alloy is less than 1.5 wt.%. Powder is obtained by cold isostatic pressing of a powder mixture containing at least two refractory metals, wherein the particle size of the initial powder mixture is characterized by a D99 value of less than 100 mcm and the particle size of at least one of the refractory metals is characterized by a D99 value of less than 10 mcm, sintering at a temperature below the lowest melting point of the refractory metals of the initial powder mixture by 400 °C to 1150 °C, sintered block melting and melt spraying with simultaneous cooling.
EFFECT: obtaining homogeneous spherical powder of refractory alloy with controlled oxygen content.
