FIELD: tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical equipment and can be used as a tool holder when working on boring and milling machines. Holder comprises a hollow body having at one end a first fitting for mounting a tool, and at the other end – a second fitting with an annular stop inside for connection with the end of an output shaft of a tool rotation mechanism, and a damping element placed in a body cavity with the possibility of axial movement. Holder contains an axial screw with a head having a flange. There is an axial threaded hole in the damping element for mounting the screw body, and the flange of the screw head is placed with the possibility to be pinched between the annular stop of the second fitting and the end of the output shaft of the tool rotation mechanism located in the second fitting.
EFFECT: increases the accuracy of processing and reduces the roughness of the treated surface.
