FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a ventilation cover of an electrolysis cell for producing aluminum. Shelter comprises covers, each of which has two opposite support edges resting on electrolyser two lateral sides, wherein each cover is located from one lateral side to the other side of the electrolytic cell above the opening, at that, cover is made so that parallel to covers it contains longitudinal inspection windows, plugs, wherein each plug is movable relative to the covers between the closed position, in which each plug closes the inspection window, and operating position, in which each plug releases passage through inspection window. Plugs are at least partially supported by the covers and can move from the closed position into the working position independently from each other without the covers moving, on which the plugs are resting. Disclosed electrolysis cell for aluminium production, containing ventilation cover, and method of replacement of spent anodes of electrolysis cell for aluminium production.
EFFECT: reduced emission of electrolysis gases during replacement of anodes.
