FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the optical devices, simulating having circular dichroism (CD) substance, with possibility to control the specified effect value in a wide range of values at the selected wavelength, which preserves the light beam movement strictly along the optical axis during the calibration process. Circular dichroism dichrographs calibration device contains linear polarizer, phase plate, providing the path difference between ordinary and extraordinary rays (2m+1)⋅λ/4). As the polarizer, two isotropic transparent dielectric plates of equal thickness with equal fixed angles of inclination are used α and -α relative to the optical axis and with possibility of their consistent rotation about this axis.
EFFECT: development of the circular dichroism dichrographs calibration device, which maintains the system alignment strictly along the optical axis during the calibration process.
