SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Reactor controlled by magnetization contains magnetic system with yokes and rods, main winding in form of coils, rods are made in the form of coiled magnetic cores, butt-joints separated by air gaps, and control winding. Inserts of rods are made in the form of a tape magnetic conductor from magnetically soft current-conducting material, performing simultaneously the role of control winding and magnetic core, have even number and are connected in circuit of direct current in pairs-opposite.

EFFECT: reduction of main winding size, magnetic system, consumption of active materials, overall dimensions and reduction of electric energy losses from scattering fields of the main magnetic flux.
