FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain wear-resistant materials using the energy of explosives (EXP), in particular in the manufacture of friction pairs in the form of brake devices for use in non-corrosive environments. Produce a five-layer billet with alternating layers of copper – low carbon steel – titanium – low carbon steel – copper, placed from the condition of subsequent explosion welding in a multilayer package of copper layers between themselves. Thickness of each copper layer is 2–3 mm. After hot rolling of the welded five-layer blanks, three multilayer blanks are obtained, each of which consists of 6–8 obtained five-layer blanks of copper, titanium and steel, by explosion welding each of them. Form a multilayer package of the three obtained multilayer blanks of copper, titanium and steel and carry out its welding by explosion using two symmetrically located relative to its explosive charges. After explosion welding, the welded multi-layer package is annealed.
EFFECT: method provides obtaining a multilayer composite material of copper, titanium and steel with greater thickness and lower wear rate during long-term operation in non-corrosive environments.
