FIELD: medicine; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat transfer technologies, in particular to the transfer of heat from a concentrated source to a liquid. Claimed method of laser-induced excitation of ultraintense bubble boiling consists in that the concentrated heat source is a water layer or a layer of an aqueous solution of NaCl at a concentration of up to 5 % near the end of the optical fiber, which will subside to saturation temperature. Diameter of the fiber is 5–1000 mcm, and the heating is performed by pulsed laser radiation with an intensity of 1–500 kW/cm2, with a pulse duration of 4 ns–10 mcs, a pulse frequency of 1 Hz–100 MHz with a wavelength in the range of 1.4–3 microns.
EFFECT: invention can be used, for example, in biotechnology and medicine, in particular, for the effective heating of tissues in order to destroy pathological formations.
