FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an insulated container for hot drinks or the like comprising an inner cup having a generally frusto-conical cup body, and a generally frusto-conical outer shell, a heat sealable plastic coating, placed at least inside said shell or outside of the body of the cup, wherein the cup is seated within the shell so that the coating extends at least along a contact path near the upper edge of the shell, along which contact path the outer surface of the cup body and inner surface of the shell are in contact. Objectives are achieved by at least one bonding spot and/or bonding area for bonding said shell to said cup body using said plastic coating as a binding agent, which is formed only within said contact path.
EFFECT: purpose of the invention is to create a container with improved insulating properties.
