FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rhodium hydrometallurgy. Method of extraction of rhodium from a multicomponent chloride rhodium-containing solution includes holding the solution at a temperature of 70–80 °C for 3–7 hours and bringing it into contact with anion exchange resin containing polyethylene polyamine functional groups.
EFFECT: there is a reduction in the residual rhodium concentration, an increase in the degree of rhodium extraction in the processing of multicomponent chloride solutions, an increase in the capacity of anion exchanger in rhodium and the yield of the purified solution per unit volume of anion exchanger.
