FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biomedicine and nanomedicine. Invention allows to increase the diagnostic or therapeutic efficacy of the agent administered to the body and can be used to improve the efficiency of diagnostic methods and the treatment of various diseases, due to more efficient delivery (passive or guided) of the agent to target cells, improvement of the pharmacokinetic parameters of the agent (circulation time), etc. Essence of the invention consists in a substance for increasing the diagnostic or therapeutic effectiveness of an agent administered to the body, including at least a component which, when substance is administered to the body, promotes the elimination of the reticuloendothelial system from the bloodstream, at least, objects circulating in the bloodstream, but not being artificially created nano- or microparticles or opsonins, which bind to the said component in a nonspecific manner, the said elimination of the mentioned objects causes at least a partial blockage of the reticuloendothelial system.
EFFECT: technical result when using the invention consists in creating a method of blocking cells of the reticuloendothelial system by introducing a small amount of a foreign substance or a safe biocompatible substance and enhancing the blocking effect.
