SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Proposed is the mid-ripening soybean varieties seeds pre-sowing treatment method. It includes the seeds exposure to the low-temperature argon SHF plasma for 60 s using the electromagnetic waves SHF source with the generation frequency of 2.45 GHz with the plasma jet diameter of 16 mm at a distance of 2.0 cm and 4.5 cm from the plasma burner edge. At that, the plasma torch main emission spectra are in the ranges of 300–400 nm and 700–800 nm. SHF flux density is 1 mW/cm2.

EFFECT: method enables the positive effect on the seeds initial growth and increase in the plants resistance to the external stressors effects.
