SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to a sifting unit and methods of using sifters that can be used to separate solid particles of a first size from solid particles of a second size in various industries – oil, pharmaceutical, food, medical and others. Gyratory sifting unit comprises a support, comprising a frame; a drivebox movably connected to the frame, the drivebox comprising a motor, a drive connected to the motor, a plurality of adjustment brackets, and a plurality of adjustment gussets; a basket movably connected to the drivebox, the basket comprising a housing, an infeed end, a discharge end, and at least one screening deck. Basket is connected to the plurality of adjustment brackets and the plurality of adjustment gussets, such that the plurality of adjustment gussets is movably connected to the basket in the lower part of the housing of the basket. Drivebox is located under the basket. When adjusting the deck tilt angle of the gyratory sifting unit, the basket is disconnected from said plurality of adjustment brackets and said plurality of adjustment gussets for exiting a first position; and the basket is connected with said plurality of adjustment brackets and said plurality of adjustment gussets in a second position. Adjustment of said screening deck angle is performed while the gyratory sifting unit remains connected to the support frame.

EFFECT: less time spent on repair and adjustment of the deck tilt angle, as well as easier deck tilt angle adjustment.
