DEVICES FOR DIRECTED DELIVERY OF THERAPEUTIC IMPLANTS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M5/32 A61M5/34

Abstract RU 2683394 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to adapter (220) for a cylinder of a syringe, intended for syringe (200) with the possibility of automatic retraction, which serves to deliver a therapeutic implant, syringe (200) and a method of assembling a syringe. Adapter (220) for a syringe cylinder, designed for syringe (200) with the possibility of an automatic retractor, which serves to deliver a therapeutic implant, is proposed. Syringe contains cylinder (218) and piston (212) in the collection, made with the possibility of movement in the cylinder. Adapter for the cylinder of the syringe contains head (232) of the adapter of the cylinder of the syringe, made with the possibility of hermetic engagement with the distal end of the cylinder. Adapter includes needle retracting mechanism (211). Needle retracting mechanism comprises needle subunit (221), comprising needle (201) and needle-covering molded element (222) through which the needle passes. Needle has a cavity. Needle subunit is located in the head of the syringe cylinder adapter and is adapted to move from the injection position, in which the needle exits the distal end of the syringe cylinder head, to the retracted position, in which the needle is located in the head of the syringe or cylinder adapter. Driven subunit (210) contains retainer (224) for the needle-covering molded element connected to the head of the syringe barrel adapter. Driven subunit includes stylet (254), stylet disk (214) in which the proximal stylet end is fixed, and protrusion (242) passing through the stylet disk into the retainer for the needle-covering molded element. Protrusion occurs in response to movement of the piston assembly inside the cylinder. Stylet is axially slidable and located in the needle cavity, and the stylet is located and removed proximally from the distal end of the needle when the needle is in the injection position. Mechanism includes bias element (240, 241) located between the needle-covering molded element and the retainer of the needle-covering molded element to displace the needle-covering molded element from the retainer of the needle-covering molded element. Mechanism contains an activated locking means designed to hold the bias element in a stressed state when the activated locking means is locked, and when the driven subunit puts it into action, release the bias element. Activating retaining means is actuated by applying pressure to the piston assembly to move the protrusion to the retainer of the needle-covering molded member. Biasing element is designed to provide for relative movement of the needle and stylet from the position for injection to the retracted position. Syringe (200) contains an adapter for the cylinder of the syringe, cylinder (218), and piston (212) assembled, configured to move in the cylinder. Method of assembling a syringe involves placing a bias element between the retainer of the needle-covering molded element and the needle subunit. Method includes a blocking step with the ability to actuate the needle-covering molded element with a retainer of the needle-covering molded element to obtain an activating locking means that keeps the bias element in tension, displacing the needle-covering molded element from the clamp of the needle-covering molded element when the activated locking means is locked, and releases the bias element when actuated. Method includes the step of locating the needle subunit in the head of the syringe barrel adapter. Distal end of the needle passes through the cylinder head of the syringe cylinder. Method comprises the step of placing a stylet exiting the stylet disk at the proximal end of the needle. Method includes the step of placing the protrusion through the hole in the stylet disk. Distal end of the protrusion is located proximally relative to the activated fixative means. Method includes the step of locating the piston assembly to move in the cylinder. Method includes the step of placing the protrusion in the cylinder for axial movement with the piston. Method includes the step of placing a stylet disk and an activating locking means in the cylinder; and hermetic engagement of the syringe cylinder adapter head with the distal end of the cylinder.

EFFECT: reduction of painful sensations and shifting efforts during the implant collection.
