ELECTRONIC INDICATOR OF SHORT CIRCUIT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01R31/02

Abstract RU 2683439 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to ensure the operation of electrical networks. Electronic short circuit indicator contains an indicator unit associated with at least three external line state sensors. Indicator unit contains the information management and processing module, the information display module, the information transmission module and the power supply. Short-circuit sensors contain a control and information processing module, an optical transceiver, a current measurement sensor, a voltage measurement sensor, and an energy storage circuit. Sensors are connected to the indicator unit by means of an electron-optical converter unit. Indicator unit is electrically connected to the electron-optical converter unit. Sensors are connected to the electro-optical converter unit via a fiber-optic cable.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining the direction of a short circuit on the air and cable lines of distribution grids, as well as simplifying operation and improving the electrical safety of the electronic indicator of a short circuit.
