FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices intended for operation of high-voltage overhead transmission lines. Technical effect is achieved due to that intelligent device for remote partitioning of overhead transmission lines with function of determining presence and type of emergency processes on line includes mechanical line disconnector fixed to support of overhead power transmission line with control drive equipped with electric actuator, and a drive control unit comprising a device for receiving and transmitting system state information and a system status indication device, wherein the mechanical disconnector control of the line can be carried out remotely over a GSM wireless communication channel, drive control unit comprises electric actuator controller, information collection and transmission controller, including near radio communication unit, control elements unit, unit for status indicators of remote separation system of overhead lines and unit for receiving and transmitting information over a wireless communication channel of GSM standard, wherein information collection and transmission controller by means of near radio module is connected to at least three identical external sensors of emergency process on line, each of which is located directly on wire of overhead transmission line, and comprises a current sensor, a voltage sensor, a battery pack and a microprocessor control unit, comprising a near-radio module and an indicator module.

EFFECT: broader functionality of the intelligent remote partitioning device and high accuracy of determining the fact and type of accident on the monitored segment of the line.
