SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer equipment. Computer system comprises: a processor and memory, into which a spreadsheet application is uploaded, wherein the spreadsheet application, when executed by the processor, instructs the processor to perform actions, including: displaying a spreadsheet on the display of the computer system; receiving indication that a user has selected table entries; receiving indication that a user is requesting search based on selected entries from said column; sending the selected entries to a server computing device; in response to the sending of selected entries to the server computing device, receiving attribute values for said attribute from the server computing device; in response to receiving attribute values for a spreadsheet updating attribute.
EFFECT: faster search and tabular organisation of data.
