SUBSTANCE: invention relates to land reclamation and is intended to determine the irrigation rate for drip irrigation of plants. Irrigation rate for drip irrigation is determined. Density of the consistency a soil layer to be moistened, the lowest water capacity of the soil to be soaked, and the pre-irrigated soil moisture are instrumentally determined. Irrigation rate, the issuance of which ensures the formation of a single contour of moisture with a given depth of moisture of a soil layer and with the required level of post-irrigation humidity is calculated. Instrumental determination of the average content of clay particles in a moistened soil layer, average rate of water absorption into the soil during the first hour of irrigation are carried out. Influence of instrumentally determined soil factors is taken into account when calculating the irrigation rate for one dropper, which is produced according to: (Nirr)drop= 0.00086∙Ɣ̅gen∙hcon3∙(0.0765∙Wc/p0.6+0.0292∙WLMC+0.6795∙(V̅ab)1hour-0.767)2∙(β̅p/i-β̅b/i), where (nirr)drop is the irrigation rate per dropper, m3/drop.; Ɣ̅gen is the average depth of the layer to be moistened, the density of soil addition, t/m3; hcon is the required depth of the contour drip soil moisture, m; Wc/p is the average content of clay particles over the moistened soil layer, % SME; WLMC is the humidity of the layer to be moistened, corresponding to the lowest moisture capacity of the soil, % SME; (V̅ab)1 hour is the average rate of absorption of water into the soil for the 1st hour of watering, mm/min; β̅p/i is the value of soil moisture averaged over the volume of the moisture contour in the post-irrigation period, % SME; β̅b/i is the average soil moisture content before irrigation within the limits of the soil layer being moistened – profile, % SME. Subsequent experimental measurements for post-irrigation refinement of the previously calculated irrigation rate are not intended.

EFFECT: dosed supply of irrigation water is provided, the volume of which allows, in certain and technological conditions of drip irrigation, to form in the drip soil space a single contour of drip moisturizing with a predetermined depth of moisturizing of a soil layer and with a certain level of post-irrigated humidity of the outlined area.
