FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to protection of plants against spring frosts in gardens. Method includes smoke-firing using smoke pellets placed on a drone-type unmanned aerial vehicle, which provides for the smoke sources lifting up to height of 1–2 m above the crown of garden trees. At that, movement of aircraft for increasing range of smoke movement in wind is carried out at angle of 90° to wind direction.
EFFECT: method increases efficiency of controlling spring frosts in industrial gardens due to mobile movement of sources of smoke throughout the garden area over the tree tops when smoking is carried from top to bottom.
