FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, particularly, to measurement of liquid level in container. Light level gauge of liquid, comprising measuring tube and separation housing, on which is screwed cylinder with cover, separating liquid, located in container, from photodetector, light sources, optically coupled with receiving photocell, which outputs are connected to inputs of measurement device, wherein transparent measuring tube with installed in it photodetector, fixed in upper and lower flanges, is inserted into housing, inside of which floating piston-float with upper mirror surface freely moves, at that light sources are rigidly fixed in upper flange inside housing at equal distances from each other along circumference, and in lower flange there is ring-shaped cut-out for liquid access.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of measurements and simple design of sensor.
