SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for optical recognition of a fingerprint, a device for optical recognition of a fingerprint and to a computer-readable data medium. Such a result is achieved by a method for optical recognition of a fingerprint, involving: receiving optical signals obtained when the analysed finger is detected in the recognition region, wherein the optical signals comprise an optical fingerprint signal and a background optical signal different from the fingerprint optical signal, and the recognition area comprises a coating area which is coated with the finger under study, and an uncoated region which is not coated with the finger under analysis; taking an optical signal reflected by the analysed finger in the area of the coating as an optical fingerprint signal corresponding to the analysed finger in optical signals; and recognizing fingerprint of finger under analysis according to fingerprint optical signal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of interference introduced background optical signal, high efficiency and accuracy of fingerprint recognition.
