FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for resistance spot welding, in particular, in the manufacture of bodies, doors of vehicles. Coolant tube is installed in the longitudinal cavity of the holder with a side gap. Electrode-cap with conical-cylindrical cavity is arranged on front tapered part of holder. Tube is connected to the holder in its rear part made with openings for cooling agent. Disc with hollow shank is arranged in cylindrical part of electrode cavity on coolant tube front part. On the side surface of the disk there are through longitudinal grooves, and on the front end of the disc there is an annular depression separated from its side surface by peripheral walls contacting with their tops with the bottom of the electrode cavity. Disc peripheral walls are formed by transverse grooves open to said through longitudinal grooves on disc side surface. Rear end of disc is separated by axial clearance from front end of holder, and shank end is separated by side clearance from side surface of holder cavity.

EFFECT: device has simple design and high reliability.
