FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a target consisting of DyInO3. Method includes producing DyInO powder3 by dissolving In(NO3)3 and Dy(NO3)3 in distilled water, followed by chemical coprecipitation of dysprosium hydroxides and indium from obtained solution with aqueous solution of ammonia at pH 10 with subsequent thermal treatment of obtained powder in air at 700 °C for 1 hour. Powder is pressed at pressure of 4 kg/cm2 at temperature of 1350 °C for 1 hour, followed by sintering.

EFFECT: obtaining ceramic target with density of 7_12 g/cm3 at reduction of power consumption during its manufacturing due to reduction of duration of processes of preparation of press powders and their sintering.
