FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to horizontal pumping units designed to discharge fluid under high pressure, for example, to maintain reservoir pressure. Installation includes a support frame, an electric motor with a shaft connected to the pump shaft, bearings that receive radial and axial loads, and a suction chamber. As an electric motor, an electric motor with an elongated shaft has been selected, inside which bearings are installed that accept radial and axial loads. Electric motor is made with an elongated shaft; spacers mounted on the end of the electric motor are coupled to the suction chamber body. Elongated shaft is passed through the spacers, connected to the pump shaft inside the suction chamber by means of a coupling with an elastic element and provided with an end seal resting on the end surface of the spacer.
EFFECT: invention provides simplicity of design, ease of installation and maintenance of the installation by eliminating unnecessary connecting elements, as well as higher reliability and longer life.
