FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping units used to maintain reservoir pressure in oil production, and also can be used to raise pressure in main product pipelines. Horizontal pump unit comprises inlet branch pipe, valve electric motor equipped with thin-walled sealing shell on stator and tubular shaft, and pump. Tubular shaft is kinematically connected with pump shaft by means of splined coupling having holes in wall. Fluid comes from inlet branch pipe into tubular shaft and through holes in splined coupling into pump. From the side of the pump in the valve electric motor holes are made for filling of its free volume with pumped liquid.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design of a horizontal pump unit, improving its reliability, ease of installation and maintenance.
