FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a seat assembly for a vehicle and, in particular, to a seat assembly for a vehicle with a foam cord for stability and rigidity of a foam seat. Vehicle seat assembly includes a seat back having a frame that ensures the structural integrity of the seat back and operably connects the seat back to the vehicle floor. Support member is operably connected to the frame. Foam cushion assembly is operably connected to the support member. Foam cushion assembly includes an upper part, a lower part, a first side support roller and a second side support roller. Closed semi-rigid foam cord is formed in the foam cushion assembly. Foam cord extends along the front periphery of the upper part, the lower part, the first side support roller and the second side support roller. Foam cord is designed to add structural rigidity to the seat back.
EFFECT: improved comfort during use.
